Assam tenders a bridge on the Sikdamakha–Pantaloo road, West Karbi Anglong: ₹1.27 crore, item rate, 540 days, closing 25 November 2026.

BMC's Bridges department has completed 40% of the Rs 1,725.12 crore Mankhurd T junction flyover in 24 months.
Ashoka Buildcon has 15 months to finish the other 60%. The stipulated completion date is 13.01.2028.
That arithmetic is the story.
Piling and pier work are largely behind the contractor.
What remains is the expensive part: segment erection over live Sion-Panvel Highway traffic, and a second-level deck carried above the existing Mankhurd flyover.
Arm-2, at 1,951 metres and stacked, holds most of that risk.
BMC is buying vertical capacity because it cannot buy land.
At 3.37 km for Rs 1,725 crore, the package works out to roughly Rs 512 crore per kilometre.
That is the premium on a corridor where right-of-way is gone and the fix is a second deck instead of a wider road.
Expect this template to repeat across built-out Mumbai.
Two interfaces will decide the date.
- The structure sits on a state highway asset.
- The upper arm crosses a flyover BMC did not build.
- Erection windows and night closures rest with other agencies.
A slipped window pushes the deck programme, and the deck is the schedule.
Ashoka Buildcon carries erection methodology and traffic-management risk.
Fabrication has moved to a yard, which protects the erection sequence but parks working capital in inventory ahead of certification.
BMC holds utility shifting and the payment cycle.
Check the accountability trail.
A Rs 1,725 crore municipal package with 60% outstanding has no named project director in the department's public progress note, only an unattributed officer.
Diffuse attribution is how dates slide without anyone owning the slide.
The 20-minute-to-5-minute claim is junction-level, not corridor-level.
Through traffic to Navi Mumbai and the JNPT-bound freight sharing Sion-Panvel Highway gains. Mankhurd's local traffic stays on the surface.
The signal: municipal capex is now plugging pinch points on state-owned port-access corridors, because stacking is the only capacity a built-out city can still permit.
Watch the 2027 single-arm opening.
If Arm-1 lands and Arm-2 does not, the junction gains nothing.
