Matrix Geo secures RITES–NHAI credential via 314 km survey

Contract Award and Overview

Matrix Geo Solutions Limited has closed a 314 km geospatial survey across five Haryana highway sections under LOT-2/HARYANA/Package-1, awarded by RITES Limited on behalf of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The ₹2,82,64,571 contract, including GST, feeds Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation for economic corridors, inter-corridor and feeder routes.

Integrated Survey Capabilities

The completion certificate dated 21 August 2026 matters less for its size than for its qualification value.

Matrix Geo Solutions bundled several capabilities into one spatially consistent framework:

For a listed SME geospatial specialist, the commercial logic is sharper: a RITES–NHAI completion certificate is bidding currency for larger survey packages as economic corridor DPR work scales up.

The procurement structure is the real story.

RITES, a Ministry of Railways Navratna, acts as the consultancy front end for NHAI highway DPRs, while specialised geospatial firms execute the field layer.

At roughly ₹90,000 per kilometre, the package signals intense price competition. It also points to a consolidating market for integrated vendors capable of delivering LiDAR, GPR and cadastral data as one deliverable.

The exposure sits with sub-consultants that bid low to build track records. The upside sits with firms that convert survey credentials into repeat DPR and land-acquisition support work across the economic corridor pipeline.

Matrix Geo Solutions has now banked one of those credentials in Haryana.
