The dateline on the award report is 2 November 2026, and it's the only date in the document. Run the durations forward and Package 1 lands at November 2028, Package 2 at May 2028. If you're the estimator carrying Corridor 4 into next week's bid meeting, that's your whole schedule: two finish dates, both inferred.
KRIDE has let two civil contracts, 511 INR-Crore between them. Package 1 goes to a joint venture of RNS Infrastructure and Gayatri Projects at 342. Package 2 goes to RNS alone at 169.08. Add them and you get 511.08, so the headline is a rounding of two estimates. Both packages sit with the same group, and between them they cover less than half of Corridor 4.
Now the part that matters. Package 1 covers 6.259 km at grade and 3.681 km of elevated viaduct between Benniganahalli and Jakkur, 9.94 km in total. Package 2 covers 12.632 km of at-grade section between Heelalige and Bellandur. Together they buy 22.572 km of a corridor that runs 46.4 km. The other 23.8 km has no award in this notice. Bellandur to Benniganahalli, no contract named. Jakkur to Rajanukunte, no contract named. The line is described as passing through Benniganahalli, Hebbal and Yelahanka, and two of those three names appear nowhere in either scope. There's no bidder count here either, and no split of the 511 crore by reason.
Package 1 works out near 34 crore a kilometre. Package 2 comes in at 13.4. Take 13.4 to your estimators as the market rate for at-grade formation and you'll price yourself two and a half times out of the room. The difference is the structure. Only Package 1 carries 3.681 km of viaduct over your head. The scope lists are otherwise close to word for word: embankments and cuttings, minor and major bridges, retaining walls, drains, boundary walls, fencing. One small tell sits in the bridge wording. Package 1 lists road underbridges, Package 2 lists road overbridges and underbridges.
Speed splits them hardest. Package 2 has 18 months for 12.632 km, about 0.70 km a month, all of it on the ground. Package 1 has 24 months for 9.94 km, roughly 0.41 km a month, with a viaduct inside it.
One group sits on both. RNS Infrastructure is in the Package 1 joint venture and takes Package 2 in its own name, so the escalation risk on the full 511 crore runs through a single contractor on this corridor.
Set the two against each other the way your estimator will. Package 2 is 169.08 crore for 12.632 km, 18 months, no viaduct, 13.4 crore a kilometre. Package 1 is 342 crore for 9.94 km, 24 months, 3.681 km of viaduct, 34 crore a kilometre. One rate card won't carry both. And Jakkur to Rajanukunte still has no contract for you to price.
