Matrix Geo finishes 314-km RITES–NHAI DPR survey

Completion and Contract Details

Matrix Geo Solutions Limited has closed a 314-km geospatial survey across five Haryana road sections under LOT-2/HARYANA/Package-1.

RITES Limited issued a completion certificate dated 21 August 2026.

The ₹28,264,571 (including GST) assignment was awarded by RITES — the Ministry of Railways-owned Navratna consultancy — acting for the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in DPR preparation for economic corridors, inter-corridor and feeder routes.

The five sections span NH-11, NH-148B, NH-352W and NH-54 in the freight-heavy Haryana belt:

- Rewari–Narnaul–Pacheri Kalan
- Narnaul–Nangal Chaudhary–Paniyala Mor
- Gurgaon–Pataudi–Rewari
- Sangat Kalan–Mandi Dabwali–Sangaria
- Bhiwani–Bawani Khera–Hansi–Barwala

The geography is deliberate: these are feeder and inter-corridor routes where DPR quality directly shapes alignment cost and land acquisition timelines.

Commercial and Execution Signals

The commercial signal is the rate.

At roughly ₹90,000 per kilometre, this is not a margin-rich mandate; it is a qualification-building play.

The completion certificate is the real asset: in NHAI's consultant-led DPR ecosystem, verified track record unlocks larger packages.

Matrix Geo delivered aerial and mobile LiDAR, UAV capture, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) utility mapping, final location survey, land acquisition support and cadastral digitisation in one scope.

That collapses previously separate surveys into a single spatially consistent dataset.

The inclusion of land acquisition support and cadastral digitisation is the overlooked shift: NHAI is pushing land risk upstream into DPR preparation rather than absorbing it at construction award.

For RITES, the mandate reinforces diversification beyond railway consultancy into highway project preparation, positioning the Navratna as an aggregator packaging NHAI lots and subcontracting specialised delivery.
